Here are a few of my favorite tried and true patterns to start your sewing journey!
Some will be a challenge but that is half the fun!
Pick the garment you want to make and go from there!
Bralettes:
A Bralette is basically a bra without underwire. I love them because they are super comfy.
The Barnett Bralette by Madalynne Intimates
This is a great, free pattern with really fun design features. I am a big fan of all Madalynne’s beautiful patterns, her instructions are clear and plentiful. And if that is not enough, she has lots of online tutorials and great hacks. This pattern is a great first make as it has no back closure.

The Mara Bralette by Studio Costura
The Mara Bralette is a great pattern, and is more supportive for fuller cups. It has clear and easy to follow instructions.

Underwired bras
Underwire provides more support and lift than bralettes.
Black Beauty by Emerald Erin
This is my ultimate tried-and-true underwired pattern. Erin's instructions are clear and descriptive. There is a foam and a non foam option, the end product is supportive and has lovely details.
